Why do car insurance companies become defensive when I question their statistics?
by Author on Monday, April 12th, 2010 | 2 Comments
I have talked to people and they seem to be arrogant and defensive when I ask them about the statistics want a reason for my rate.they say things like:
They don't have to justify any rates to any customer.
If I don't like it I can just not own a car.
Who do car insurance companies think they are?
Apparently these companies feel like they can do whatever they want.

I doubt that the guy sitting in his office knows or cares how his firm works out their statistics but If you really want to know, you can openly check how they do it, just get in touch with your State’s Insurance Department and take it from there..
They can.
The sell a product, its called car insurance.
If you want the product, you pay what they are selling it for.
If you do not want the product, then don’t buy it.
The same applies if you go to McDonalds, you cannot ask them to double the amount of beef on the hamburger, just because you think you should get more.
