Is a 2007 Lexus ES350 a good starting car for a teenager?

Is this a good starting car?
In addition, how much would insurance be if my parents add this car to their insurance plan?

No a lexus isnt a good starting car. Tell your parents you want a POS that you can abuse while you learn to drive.

a lexus is an expensive luxury vehicle
u will probly have a couple of "oh sh1t" moments where u run off the road an stuff
i would recommend gettin a lower maintenance, cheaper car to begin with
I think its agreat choice but jsut make sure you do an inspection and some maintanence work so the car is ready to go for a ong term. But lexus is a luxury brand which means hat it may be unreliable.
I guess it would be ok. Lexus are very good cars and very reliable.
The ES isn’t my favourite model, but still a pretty good car.
I guess the guy above me isn’t familar will Lexus, since he said "….. it may be unreliable."
In my opinion a better alternative would be the IS350. It’s smaller but it is sportier and better looking.
A Lexus is a great car for a teenager. But a ES350?! No way, this car is for old people. If i ever saw a tanager in a ES350 i would assume it was their grandparents or their Moms car. If i was you i would go for a Lexus IS250 or IS350, these cars appeal to the majority of teenagers . A Lexus Es just looks boring for a teen, don’t get me wrong the car is nice but it looks to serious for a teen. If your shopping within the luxury car segment you should be looking at a BMW 3 series, Lexus Is250, Audi A4 or an Infiniti G37.
