Car insurance for teenager questions?

okay well im turning 16 this summer and i pretty much know how to drive but i don't have a permit yet (get it this summer)etc but i saved up money for a car my dad said he'd go half's on with me and then i was Just wondering what insurance should i go with that is dependable but not extremely pricey and what are the prices usually i know they are pretty high due to many teen accidents.

How much hidden cost is there to flip a used car?

I know someone selling their car for well under the retail value because they are moving. I could easily sell the car in its current condition for 00 more than what he is asking. My question/concern is how much money do I have to spend outside of the asking price of the car to make this work? The hidden costs basically.

For instance, I assume I would have to pay sales tax, cost for a new title, new registration for the car, new plates? adding the car to my insurance for a short period? The car is being sold for 00 and is easily a 00 car. Probably more if I put some time into it. I live in Florida. I would not be selling any car I currently own, I would be doing this simply to flip the car and make money.

If any experienced car flippers/mechanics could give any advice I would greatly appreciate it. I do not want to end up costing myself when I thought I was making a good investment.
It is my friends cousin's car and she is moving overseas at the end of the month and are not taking it with her. She don't have the time to sell it, nor do she have anything more than a sign in the window for advertising.

She just wants to get it sold. I am not looking for advice as to weather I will be able to make profit on the car or if she is ripping me off. I simply want to know about the cost of flipping the car.

I would rather have it where I could allow someone to legally test drive it. Can someone break down the costs for if I did want to allow it to be test drove vs if I did not allow it on the road.

Child support, back medical insurance coverage question.?

I have an 18 year old daughter that lives with me and has since birth. Her father and I separated when she was 2 and divorced when she was 3. He was ordered to pay support and provide insurance. For the first couple of years, he would start jobs and quit as soon as child support found him, so my new husband added her to his policy at work when we married. She has been on his policy for 13 years. The father does pay his child support, but I am questioning whether I can sue him for the back medical coverage. It comes out to about per month based on today's figures (took total extra for kids and divided by 3, since I have two more daughters now).

I hate to be a biddy, but he is about to nickel and dime me to death. My father (her grandfather) bought her a new car, and the daddy took from his car insurance payment to cover the tank of gas he put in the old car! I have had ENOUGH!!! It is time he realizes just how lucky he has had it!!!
I forgot to say I was in North Carolina.

I'm turning 22 had a Kawasaki Ninja 250R as a starter bike and looking to upgrade to something bigger. I have a clean record but any online quote I get for a bike 600cc or higher results in ,000/year or higher in insurance. I see guys my age riding around all the time on R6s and CBR600RRs and I don't understand it. Am I missing something? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Can I have two cars under two separate car insurance companies read my situation please!?

I have my own insurance on my own car with Farmers Insurance. However, my best friend just bought a new car and her insurance rate sucks. Can I insure my friends car under my name with Gieco and add my friend as a secondary driver and keep my Farmers insurance under my own car? Also, is there any way that Farmers would no if I did this? Do I have to tell anyone I have two insurance companies? Just put insurance, right?

Why do car insurance companies only offer "Act of God" protection for certain incidents?

If you hit a deer with your car, it is considered "an act of God" and the insurance company covers the damage to the vehicle. With this style of thinking, isn't EVERYTHING an act of God? If I drink too much wine at communion and then drive home and run a red light, resulting in the death of a mini van full of puppies and children, isn't that also an "act of God?"

I'm 17 and just passed my test as you know first time drivers is extremely expensive to insure. As none of my parents drive I cannot go onto their policy so I'm having to start my own policy where the prices are ridiculous for an old car, but my friends have been telling me how there siblings etc. have started there own policies for as little cheap, help me please
