hi im all most finished my driving lessons and wondering about the insurance ect i dont wanna spend hours on compere or that putting in details , but wondering if there r any first time drivers out there and give me there thoughts on how i would get a cheap car and cheap insurance

ok so im 17 and ive had around 11 driving lessons, im going in for my test soon and im searching for a cheap car based on insurance. yet the cheapest annual premium i can get is £2900!!!! and this was for a 1995 vauxhall corsa 1.0L third party fire and theft with £800 excess! i have tried clio's fiestas puntos everything i can think of thats under 1.3 Litres ive also tried numerous comparison websites and this is the cheapest quote ive got. i thought about going on parents insurance but then i will not build up any no claims? is there a way i can find cheaper insurance, and if you are my age and are driving how do you start out?

So here's my story. I want to learn to drive standard before I purchase my serious car but the thing is, I dont know how! Now, I've asked almost everyone I know that can drive standard to teach me but no one has kept their word. I found a cheap car that's standard (has a turbo too!) for a really low price.

When I'm driving the car home (when/if I buy it) and when Im driving around learning how to drive a standard, do I need insurance on the car? Is there anything I can say so to the insurer so that I dont have to pay that much insurance? I plan to drive the car for maybe 2 weeks until I'm confident driving one. How about license plates? Do I need to buy a new one? Can I just renew an old plate I have laying around?

Where can I find "cheap" car insurance for Manhattan?

I recently moved to Manhattan and had to bring my car. I had plan on selling it, but with no luck. So now I have to keep it and now I have no insurance. The car is in "storage" right now. Can anyone suggest a "cheap" insurance company to me. I have gotten quotes from Geico, Progressive, All State, State Farm, Nationwide, who all either denied me for a lapse I have had or they cost twice as much as my car payment. I know that I am reaching for the stars.

What does a person credit score have to do with rates on car insurance rates?

It should be against the law since everyone must carry car insurance. Also, what does my low credit score got to with my great driving record? Sounds like another reason to raise rates because most credit scores are low across the board. If someone pays their insurance company on time and has a good driving record should be their only concerns. Doesn't that make sense to raise car insurance rates to persons that had a hard time paying a bill, bit made all their car insurance payments on time.

so this guy rear ended me and i was not at all at falt so his insurance (geico ) will flip the bill. so my question is i want to have it custom painted sence its gonna need a full coat of new paint. so my plan is to have the shop do the work on the body n get the bill directly from geico then give me an estimate for the paint and then insurance will have to pay me that amount right?? and i can just add a thousand more out of pocket and get some nice paint done up my self. will this work how do i do thid?? also when and who do i get the pain and suffering money from? can i get any money for the fack that this was a perfect condition colletors car?? cus it was perfect and now will never be the same. my neck got hurt pretty bad how do i get money for that. do i get money for going though all this crap and drivin around to get this fixed?? i think i deserve close to 5 grand in just pain n suffering beacuse i love that car and now its never gonna be the same.
