I'm 17 and i want to buy my own car. My parents are worried insurance will skyrocket up. How much does insurance go up when adding a 4th car to the insurance plan?( I currently pay for my share of insurance each month)

I'm going to get my license next month but my parents told me I can't get a car, which I am in terms with. However, they did say I could occasionally borrow their cars when they aren't busy or at work or something like that. Would it be okay if I did this but I don't have the insurance for the cars under my name? Will they still be covered if someone hits me or something? And would this be legal?

Hi. Been looking for cheap car insurance. so far ive been quoted £8000 on 2001 vauxhall corsa 1.2 petrol 3dr hatchback. live in ws1 4 area and im a carpenter. no parents dont drive and passed early october. Ive tried I-Kube, and other but their prices are outrageous! hoping to go with young marmalade as a last resort. Many thanks. and no i havent bought the car yet. car is worth £1500 approx.

I'm about to start college this fall and I won't have a car with my on campus. I won't need a car on campus until my Junior year when I have to start internships.
This January my parents want to kick my off their auto insurance cause my rates are pretty high I have 6 points on my record (but 2 of them will be dropped in March). I'm looking for cheap auto insurance for a college student who doesn't own a car. I will need the auto insurance for when I'm back visiting family i can use the family car my parents bought for my brothers and I.

ok so im 17 and ive had around 11 driving lessons, im going in for my test soon and im searching for a cheap car based on insurance. yet the cheapest annual premium i can get is £2900!!!! and this was for a 1995 vauxhall corsa 1.0L third party fire and theft with £800 excess! i have tried clio's fiestas puntos everything i can think of thats under 1.3 Litres ive also tried numerous comparison websites and this is the cheapest quote ive got. i thought about going on parents insurance but then i will not build up any no claims? is there a way i can find cheaper insurance, and if you are my age and are driving how do you start out?

Im a college student and wants to get off my my parents car insurance its currently 97.00 a month she said thats the cheapest it would be because I would have to pay 500 or 800 in advance or something like that. Im an 18 year old female and insurance is ridiculously high priced, and I was wondering, at what age will it star to get cheaper. I understand that insurance is gonna be more expensive for younger driver, but isn't 350 a month a bit much? At what age will my insurance start to get cheaper?
My parents are very "live your own life" lol. They have refused to have me on their insurance.
