    Hi :)
    Well, I *might* be getting my license, and need to buy car insurance. No, my parents won't support me on this; it's out of their budget, and they don't want me driving. But my road test is in a few days, and after that, I want to be able to drive on my own, and be covered.
    In general, what are the prices of car insurance? Is it affordable for teenagers? I don't have a steady job, but work in the summer, and hope that this can cover the expenses.

    Hi, Im 16 years old, going to get my license, and did parent taught drivers ed. All my life, ive wanted to drive, but now, I hear that car insurance for teenagers is so damn high. I heard it is at least 200 a month, and I know for a fact my parents cant afford that? What should I do? Some people I heard pay only 20 dollars a month, how the hell did they get suc ha low rate?

    Also, Id like to drive a sports car, which im guessing is gonna make insurance way higher. So where can my parents get affordable insurance for me?

      I know its wrong to lie, BUT ,my insurance would be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much lower if I had been driving for longer. I didn't get my license until I was 22 and I'm 23 now, but they give me the rates of a teenager. I pay way too much!

      Hey all,

      My Dad wants me to sell my brand new dodge charger srt8 because the insurance agency is asking for an extra 00 dollars. I have never had a speeding ticket and my record is spotless. But they're still charging that much extra. I live in an area where the teenagers get into a lot of car accidents when they have sports cars. could this be a reason? Also I'm 17 if that could help you in any way.

      If I really have to return or sell it, I'll do that and get another car but for those of you who are teenagers or have teenagers, what is your insurance cost? What is the best insurance to insure your teens car?

        i heard recently that now you can start driving as soon as you hit 17 1/2, instead of 18. does this work for insurance too - as in, will the insurance be cheaper if you start driving at 17 1/2, instead of 18? i can't afford the high insurance rates, so that's why i haven't started driving yet, although im 17 1/2 now. This is according to California DMV rules, btw
